It’s sunny out. Nice!

Daniel Craig will not run against Joe Courtney, reports the Norwich Bulletin. Looks like Sean Sullivan is the candidate–unless someone else jumps in. No one else seems to want to.

Rep. Tim O’Brien has some sensible things to say about the social networking bill recently passed out of Judiciary on his blog.

Is Eddie Perez in trouble over parking? Maybe.

There’s at least some opposition to the downtown redevelopment project at the heart of Naugatuck’s mayoral election this May.

And, once again, elephants.

What else is going on?

The sun is nice. I had lunch outside today. Spring is finally here.

Also, I want to second what Genghis said about O’Brien’s blog. His post is a must read.

    Yes, spring has finally sprung.

I’m heading out into the sun now.

I’m not all that surprised about Craig. That guy has some baggage… Watching Sullivan’s campaign shape up should be interesting.

    Toucan,

I was wondering if you’re going to defend this too?

Keith, you’re not allowed to post on Iraq. It has nothing to do with anyone here in Connecticut. Why don’t you just step away from the computer and go shopping?

Patreaus is on Capitol Hill tommorrow testifying. One has to wonder
what he was “ordered” to say.

  • 9 The Dude // Apr 24, 2007 at 5:29 pm ·

+1 The Iraq stuff does not seeming too relevant to CT local politics.

  • 10 Noreaster // Apr 24, 2007 at 5:31 pm ·

How classy … keep TrueBlue’s crappy message and Keith’s crap, but delete mine. Nice monitoring. No bias, of course. Oh, no. No bias here.

  • 11 Noreaster // Apr 24, 2007 at 5:33 pm ·

Hey Monitor — why did you delete my message but not delete the others?????????????????????

  • 12 Noreaster // Apr 24, 2007 at 5:35 pm ·

Fine — I’ll just stay away from this website. Thanks for giving me a good reason to stay away. Bye y’all.

    Dude,

Last I looked we were still part of the USA.

If you think spending 2 billion
a week on Iraq doesn’t effect us here in Ct perhaps you should state that publicly so
your constituents can better understand your position.

    Another one bites the dust!!

    I love that song!!!

Genghis – How about an explanation for what Noreaster is talking about? Just curious.

  • 16 CGG // Apr 24, 2007 at 5:58 pm ·

I’ll explain. I killed one of Noreaster’s comments for violation of rules 2 and 4. I also killed one of TBCT’s for violation of rule 2. In the future when you have questions about why your comment was zapped feel free to email us.

Chris Shays is holding 17 public forums in his district this weekend and the following weekend. Murphy and DeLauro will also be around.

  • 18 TrueBlueCT // Apr 24, 2007 at 10:40 pm ·

What, someone named Tony says that progress is being made in Iraq, but the liberal media wants us to lose, so they refuse to cover the progress??? I refer to that.statement, and my post gets deleted?

What gives? The comment was made, and I should be perfectly free to point back to it. (And to ask Stark to expound on it, btw.)

It’s not like I’ve called Tony names. Well at least not beyond calling him a kool-aid drinker and a supply-side zealot. But if he wants to argue things are going well in Baghdad, he shouldn’t have a problem with being made to wear his GOP talking points.

ctKeith, I have never defended the Tillman story – even from the day it was first sensationalized, BTW.
