Rogers Confirmed Unanimously

Chase Rogers will be the next chief justice of Connecticut’s Supreme Court. Her nomination was confirmed 33-0 in the Senate and 149-0 in the House. Story here.

    I was in the Senate Gallery today for Senator McDonalds testimony on this nomination.I’m not a bit suprised by this vote.

    Her unanimous vote in Judiciary was a pretty accurate picture of her support.

    I don’t think anyone was surprised.

    I was in the House when the nomination passed, though my focus wasn’t really on it at the time.

    It was absolutely Glowing.Rogers could not have written more positive remarks.
