It surprising that he is taking a negative tone in commenting on Clinton, Obama and Edwards in Yepson's column, when moving the discussion and focusing on Iraq favors him and Biden. I disagree.

Ron Paul voted against the war and has consistently and unequivocally opposed everything to do with this unconstitutional, undeclared war… and he outraised Dodd in Q3.

As well, I believe Paul’s opposition is based on principle, not polls. (And that’s not a shot at Dodd… it’s directed at “the inevitable one.”)

But it just keeps not happening. It isn't for lack of trying, of course, but still. Speaking of the back of the pack, there was an E.J Dionne article in the <i>Courant</i> this morning about the widespread support for Joe Biden's <a href="http://www.courant.com/news/opinion/op_ed/hc-dionne1002.artoct02,0,1325933.story" rel="nofollow">federal solution</a> to Iraq. If there's a political solution, I think that may be it. I keep waiting for Dodd’s Iraq stands and other positions friendly to progressives to help him take off. But it just keeps not happening.
