Norwalk Hour Doing Yeoman’s Work

In their first story on the Fourth Congressional District race (primary or general) in at least two weeks, the Norwalk Hour contains this passage:

So far, interest in the Democratic primary election in Norwalk has been lackluster, based upon the number of absentee ballots sent out and returned to the Town Clerk’s office. As of Friday afternoon, the office had sent out 61 absentee ballots, including 16 overseas ballots, according to Town Clerk Andrew S. Garfunkel.

“The steadfast Democrats have been (into the Town Clerk’s office) — those who know about what’s going on,” Garfunkel said. “I guess if you’re not an active Democrat, (the primary election) is sort of under the radar.”

If only we could put our finger on some reason why…
