Some Random Thoughts on Kerrigan

If the bonds of traditional marriage start weakening, can someone make sure to tell CTBob so he can tape and set it to music?

I’ve been to a lot of wedding receptions and the happiness and excitement in the Kerrigan afterparty were the equal of any of them.

I’ll have more on the decision when I get a chance to digest it (Note: its long) – probably tomorrow – but does it seem to anyone else (who read Justice Borden’s dissent, joined by Justice Vertefeuille) that there were actually 6 out of 7 votes in favor of same-sex marriage, but 2 of the votes thought it should, and would, come out of the legislature?

Is the Kerrigan decision the beginning of the endgame of the diabolical conspiracy by Hallmark to increase sales of the cards that hold money in their little flaps by roughly 10%

Does the world end on the 28th, or will Connecticut shrug and move on with its life? I think the latter, and that’s why, despite cries of judicial usurpation (try and get that on a pithy bumper sticker), the groups opposed to full marital rights for same-sex couples were destined to lose…
