The state Democratic Party may well sternly rebuke or perhaps mildly criticize Sen. Joe Lieberman for his actions during the presidential campaign tonight. A move to actually censure Lieberman is not on the table.
This could be the worst thing that state Democrats actually do to Joe Lieberman. And frankly, even a strongly-worded resolution isn’t all that bad. I can’t imagine he’ll lose any sleep over it.

It is still important that state democrats be heard thru state central, regardless of whether its a vote that has any teeth in it. I would have preferred a censure and I am disappointed that the censure resolution was pulled back or not brought forward.
Censure doesn’t matter. We all know that if Joe had gotten what he wanted, we’d be ushering in a President McCain, a Sarah Palin vice-Presidency, and, of course, a Rell appointed Senator Rob Simmons.
The important thing is for the few remaining Liebercrats to fully understand that Lieberman can not be welcomed back into the fold for a spot on the Dem ticket in 2012.
Why don’t Democrats go after Chris Dodd? Shouldn’t he be the one sternly rebuked for his actions? Democrats already rebuked Lieberman by not endorsing him. This seems redundant.
Corruption is apparently OK, voting “wrong” 13% of the time isn’t.
BTW – off topic, but did anyone notice the new Q-Poll?
Seems Rell is up another 3 points.
