“These beastly government officials should be made an example of as a warning to others in government: Obey the Constitution or die.”
–New Jersey internet radio host Hal Turner, on his blog, inciting violence against Sen. Andrew McDonald, Rep. Mike Lawlor and Thomas Jones of the state Ethics office. Turner had pledged to release the home addresses of these officials on his show tonight, but was arrested on charges of inciting injury to persons or property before he could do so. State Capitol Police obtained a warrant for his arrest today.
Turner had been upset at an earlier bill which would have changed Church governance, and at a state ethics office investigation into whether the Church had violated lobbying laws by organizing a rally to protest the law.
Previously a New Britain man had been arrested for sending threatening email to Lawlor and McDonald.

Throw away the key.
Guy’s a white supremacist, too. A real charmer. Good for the Capitol Police.
