They probably filed the campaign paperwork and put the disclosure on the website that matches the paperwork.

On another note, anyone have any insight on Cafero? Neither candidate released any legislators, I'm assuming they all are waiting on seeing what he does.

Question for anyone who may know: according to SEEC's website, Foley has yet to form a campaign committee. As far as I know, once you declare that you are a candidate you trigger a 10-day window where you must open one up. As opposed to the FEC, I believe the SEEC requires that you open a committee whether self-funding or not. Plus, I think Foley mentioned that he would be raising money as well as spending his own, so a committee is necessary. Even though he is still inside 10 days from his announcement, his website and other materials bear a disclaimer to a committee that doesn't exist. Can someone who knows weigh-in on this?
