Connecticut Local Politics

Announcement and Open Forum

After nearly a year of contributing here at Connecticut Local Politics, this will be my final post.

I’ve been offered and accepted an opportunity to contribute at a site familiar to most of you, CT News Junkie.  They are expanding their content to include more opinion-editorial pieces and I will be joining their team as a columnist opposite a regular participant here, Jonathan Pelto.

Thank you very much to all the readers and participants who’ve made this community as enjoyable as it has been.

Feel free to wax philosophical – or just comment on the news of the day – in this post as an Open Forum.

Ooooh boy. Good for you Heath! And good for Christine and CTNJ!

Is this potentially the end of this site? Or will Ghengis come back to us?

BTW – If saramerica is the primary author here, I may have to take this site out of my daily rotation…

Genghis will have more to say soon, so don’t get ahead of yourselves.

Meanwhile, good luck Heath, it has been a blast working with you.

Heath, congrats and best of luck! You’ll be missed here, but as CTNJ is on my daily scan, I’m sure I’ll be seeing you around.
