Go check out the TownBlogs blogs on the right for lots of great information about what’s happening in towns across Connecticut. There are updates in Berlin about development, Glastonbury about the BOE budget and HS track, Middletown about computing technology, and newcomer Norwalk about Super 7.

There’s a bill out there to stop kids from listening to music with naughty lyrics while in public schools. …Thanks, FIC. They’re also supporting a bill requiring that women be shown an ultrasound of the fetus they’re carrying before getting an abortion.

Should we raise the smoking age from 18 to 21? Because that will stop kids from smoking. Yep.

What else is going on?

Are you folks now going to abandon your goddess,Ann Coulter?LOL

She’s yours just like the soon to be ” Disgraced Former Senator Deminici” and ” Disgraced Former Rep.Heather Wilson” both from New Mexico.

The Democrats have had oversight power for less than 2 months and the Republicans world is falling apart already.

So many Scandals and crooks and only 20 months until Nov 08.

Gabe was elected as the Finance Director of the National Democratic Law Students Council.

I’m a republican. I went to see Coulter vs. Al Franken a few years ago in Hartford. I went into the “discussion” telling my friend that I couldn’t stand either one of them, but at least Franken would be funny.

My expectations were met. Along with others on the right, Ann Coulter is the same as some on the left… she’d rather spew vitriol than elevate the public discourse.

I turn off the TV when I see her and have been doing so for years.

What did Domenici do? Speaking of scandals though… why does Pat Dillon still have her “leadership” title? The Dem “leaders” in Hartford should be ashamed of themselves for not having removed it.

nm. I just found the New Mexico stuff. What I read didn’t sound good.

GC: I just wanted to post a comment praising you for posts like this. I, for one, find notice of these proposed bills quite interesting. It’s often not covered in the local media and it’s quite interesting.

    Conncon,

How come I’m not suprised you’re heaping praise on genghis for posting garbage like this.

We have scandals involving our wounded soldiers living in rat infested hotels and not getting the care they’ve earned, a Republican Senator and Rep. from New Mexico who interferred in a federal investigation for purely political reasons and 8 Federal prosecutors who were fired for purely political reasons,A new general in charge in Iraq who forgot to tell congress when he testified that he thinks we only have a “1 in 4 chance of the surge being successful” and just like Fox news GC and the gang here want to talk about the equivelent of Anna Nicole.

If anyones wondering why the participation, volume and influence of CLP is going down the tubes the answer is easy.

    IT”S THE CONTENT,STUPID!!

Curious, who’s the writer for the Norwalk blog? The author’s name is not mentioned on any posts.
