Wiretap at Labor Department?

by Genghis Conn · June 26th, 2007, 3:05 pm · 4 Comments

Suspicious:

Last week, we were alerted to the quandary faced by staff in the facilities management section of the state Labor Department. A suspicious object – initially believed to be a listening device – was discovered by a terrified worker. Even if it is not a wiretap, a facsimile device left and intended to harass a subordinate or co-worker is serious misconduct.

The article strongly implies that Enfield Mayor Tallarita is responsible–although there is no clear connection as of yet. The worker claims that Tallarita, who is his supervisor at the department, has been harassing him.

Could be nothing. Could be quite serious. Whatever it is, it’s a crazy story. We’ll have to see what happens next.

I do not know about this story but if you view the Stratford Town
Blog to your right I would say a huge potential scandal is brewing.

What happened to the Stratford Political Theater????? With great sadness I must report that it is GONE again! Hopefully the Playwright will be back soon. DarkHorse is absolutely correct…there is quite a mess in Stratford.

A case of charter revision backfiring.

The Town Manager form of govt was working fine in Stratford not the mayor thinks he is running bridgeport.

Huge scandal here I think. If town employees were doing this site
on Town time especially. If they were using their money that is
not a problem but if somehow Town funds were directly involved
then that is more of a scandal.

    God help Stratford.
