The last quarter 2007 figures for 2nd District Congressman Joe Courtney have been posted on the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) Website.  Courtney Raised $293,865.54 in the final quarter of 2007 giving him a yearly total of $1,248,819.54.  With quarterly expenses of $62,385.59 and annual expenses of $322,064.85, Representative Courtney ends the year with $1,000,195.15 on hand.   According to his campaign office, this is ahead of the pace set by  former Congressman Rob Simmons in the previous election cycle.  In the past year over 1,800 individual donors have contributed to the Courtney campaign and 80% of the contributors live in the 2nd Congressional District.  Courtney’s expenses for the year of $333,889.33 were for his paid campaign staff, office supplies, fund raising consultants and fund raisers.  Looks like the Courtney camp is in good shape for the coming election season.
