The Day has an article today about the Connecticut Sun, who have been playing in the Mohegan Sun Arena for five years. The Sun draw just about the average for a WNBA team, and fill their small-ish arena (about 10K seats) to 80% capacity.
So, apparently southeastern Connecticut can support a WNBA team.
