TPZ Delays Action
The TPZ will not take action on the proposed Adult Entertainment zoning regulation changes during their next meeting on May 14th.
It appears to me that the TPZ was listening and heard the residents speak. Here is the text of the Press Release that is posted on the Town’s website:

ADULT ENTERTAINMENT ZONING TEXT AMENDMENTS AND MAP AMENDMENTS
The Town of East Hartford Planning and Zoning Commission held a Special Meeting on April 30 for the purpose of a public hearing on proposed text amendments and map amendments to the Zoning Regulations. During that Public Hearing, the Commission heard testimony from residents and property owners. To assure that issues raised by the public are fully analyzed, our Planning and Zoning Chairman Anthony Kayser declared today that the Planning and Zoning Commission will not consider these text amendments at the May 14 meeting, but will defer action until additional information is collected on the issues at hand.
