It seems like logic trumped emotion for a change.

I was surprised that the Courant mentioned that the symbolic vote was a way of further politicizing an already politicized measure. Please where is the justice in urban crime being used to grab ratings and keep people fearful of a city, while the occasional suburban murder (also used to grab ratings) is being propped up as a reason for legal reform? I’m not gonna quote Kanye West here or anything, but I’ll imply it.
